Using iPads to Support Pupils With Literacy Difficulties

AIMS

• To raise awareness of the importance of assistive technology to support inclusive education.
• To provide an introductory overview of the free, built-in accessibility features on an iPad.
• To explain the benefits of the use of the iPad's accessibility features in the classroom.
• To demonstrate 3 apps used by the Literacy Service staff to support pupils with literacy difficulties.
