Target audience: Early Career Teachers undertaking Induction and Early Professional Development (EPD1 & EPD2) in Nursery, Primary & Special

ECTs registered with the EA for the academic year 2025-2026 will have received an access code to enable them to apply for this event.  

About this event

This webinar will introduce Early Career Teachers to practical, classroom-ready ways to use AI tools to enhance planning, personalise learning and support pupil engagement.  With a focus on Nursery, Primary, and Special school contexts, the session will explore how AI can be used responsibly and effectively to support the Northern Ireland Curriculum and inclusive teaching practices.

Webinar Objectives

• Develop understanding of the potential of AI to support learning and teaching in early years, primary and special education settings.
• Explore practical examples of AI tools that can enhance planning, differentiation and pupil engagement.
• Consider the ethical and responsible use of AI in the classroom.

This professional learning opportunity aims to support the development of the following GTCNI competences:
