The first-time principal programme is a bespoke teacher professional learning programme designed to support newly appointed principals (permanent or acting) in their first year in post. The induction programme for 2022-23 will consist of a hybrid model of face to face and online modules covering a range of leadership and management issues:
Once registered, you will also be given full details about the online learning portal where you will be able to access all course materials throughout the year.
Please note that there is no subcover for this course but teaching principals may use the subcover code TP to claim up to 6 days subcover to attend teacher professional learning courses.
If you are a first-time principal (acting or permanent) and you would like to enrol on the First-Time Principals' Induction Programme, please click on 'Book' at the top of the page and complete the Registration of Interest. The programme will commence in September 2022.
