Training Aim:
This Professional Learning & Development Programme aims to outline how to support the development of early interaction skills with a focus on supporting pupils at the early stages of communication.
Course Structure/Content:
This session has been specifically structured to support the following:
1. To understand the importance of early interaction skills in supporting communication, engagement and learning.
2. To explore practical strategies that promote curiosity, participation and shared attention.
3. To develop an understanding of practical strategies aimed to support multisensory learners.
4. To reflect on how strategies can be adapted to meet individual pupil needs.
