Shared Education Conference March 2020

A number of Shared Education Conferences have been planned for March 2020.  These conferences are targeted at ALL SCHOOLS who are NOT involved in the two major initiatives (Shared Education Signature Project or CASE Peace IV).

The purpose of the conference is to provide schools with:

• an introduction to Shared Education,
• an understanding of its purpose,
• the practicalities of being involved in a Shared Education partnership and;
• the benefits Shared Education Partnerships can bring to pupils, teachers, schools and the wider community. 

The programme for the conference also aims to signpost schools on how to identify prospective partners, to begin building relationships between schools and to identify some of the no cost/low cost activities that can be undertaken in preparation for pupil to pupil engagement.

Three venues have been identified for the events:

• Friday 20th March 2020, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast, 9.30am – 3.30pm
• Monday 23rd March 2020, Armagh City Hotel, Armagh, 9.30am – 3.30pm
• Monday 30th March 2020, Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh, 9.30am – 3.30pm
