Access Arrangements for Post-Primary Pupils with Literacy Difficulties

AIMS:

• To examine what Access Arrangements are and the principles behind their existence.
• To discuss the structures that regulate the administration of Access Arrangements.
• To highlight a range of Access Arrangements that may be appropriate for some post-primary pupils with literacy difficulties.
• To provide signposting to resources and literature which may prove helpful for school staff in relation to Access Arrangements.
