Newly-appointed Vice Principals' Support Programme 2026-2027 - Day 1

The Newly-appointed Vice-Principals' Support Programme is designed to support Vice Principals in their new role.

Day 1 of the programme will take place on Tuesday 29 September 2026 in Antrim Board Centre from  9.30am - 3.00pm

This day is designed to foster meaningful connections that will support you throughout your first year of appointment as Vice-Principal. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with fellow participants, recently appointed Vice-Principals and key Education Authority personnel. The programme overview will be shared, along with insights from past participants who will reflect on how the experience positively influenced their leadership journey.  A key focus of the day will be on the importance of self-care as a foundation for sustainable and effective leadership.

In addition, we are delighted to have Nichola Lynagh, a highly experienced leadership coach, to share guidelines on connecting to self and others to lead well.
