Aims:

• To consider the prevalence of SBEW related need in Northern Ireland
• To review the current legislation and guidelines in relation to positive behaviour strategies
• To consider policy, practice and ethos in relation to shared values – how these link to practice
• To apply evidence of current research and best practice in relation to positive behaviour strategies in the classroom
